Seven doctors deployed to flood-hit Rasuwa


Kathmandu [Nepal], August 26 – Seven doctors from the National Trauma Centre have been deployed to flood-hit Rasuwa to provide medical care to people injured or falling ill in the disaster.

According to Dr. Rudra Marasini chief of the centre, the medical team left for the affected areas carrying essential medicines.

The team has been sent to support treatment efforts as rescue and relief operations continue following the sudden flood in Rasuwa.

The disaster has caused casualties and damage to physical infrastructure at several locations, prompting authorities to prioritize healthcare alongside rescue and relief operations.

The doctors are expected to provide immediate medical assistance to injured and sick people in affected communities as emergency response efforts continue.
