Shah left Kathmandu at 9:30 am today by road accompanied by Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal, according to the Prime Minister’s press secretary and research expert Dipa Dahal. During the visit the prime minister is expected to assess the impact of the flooding and take stock of the situation in the affected areas. The visit comes as authorities continue rescue and relief efforts following the flooding that caused significant damage across several areas.
