Prachanda-led NCP sacks party incharges of Gandaki, Lumbini provinces

Prithvi Subba Gurung is replaced with Devendra Paudel as party incharge in Gandaki and Shankar Pokharel with Yubaraj Gyawali in Lumbini

KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Madhav Kumar Nepal has sacked Prithvi Subba Gurung as party’s incharge of Gandaki province and Shankar Pokharel as incharge of Lumbini.

A standing committee meeting of the NCP held on Monday decided to designate Devendra Poudel as the new incharge of Gandaki and Yubaraj Gyawali as the incharge of Lumbini.

As Pokharel and Gurung are in KP Oli-led NCP, Prachanda-led NCP decided to replace them with new incharges.

The NCP in Province 1, Bagmati and Sudur Paschim are led by incharges close to Prachanda-Nepal-led camp.
