गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ MIT Group Foundation donates medical equipment to government Politics MIT Group Foundation donates medical equipment to government KathmanduPati June 07, 2021 KATHMANDU – Minister for Health and Population Sher Bahadur Tamang has called on one and all to extend cooperation for ensuring the health safety of the Nepali people in the context of prevention and control of COVID-19. Addressing the programme to hand over the oxygen concentrators collected as assistance through the MIT Group Foundation here today, he said such support was received from various countries. “I want to call upon all to provide support to the extent possible for the protection of the health of the Nepali people,” the Health Minister said, adding that the government was seriously at work for managing vaccine as well as other health support for protecting the health of the Nepali citizens. He shared that arrangement has been made to collect all the support received at the Department of Health Services and to be dispatched to the districts concerned as per their need. Two hundred and twenty units oxygen concentrator worth approximately Rs 30 million provided by the Foundation were handed over to the Department on the occasion, the Foundation Managing Director, Suresh Chitrakar, said. The Foundation is set up by Non-Resident Nepali Shesh Ghale and Jamuna Ghale in the service of Nepal and the Nepali people.
