गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ UML proposes to renew party membership by mid-July Politics UML proposes to renew party membership by mid-July KathmanduPati July 03, 2021 KATHMANDU – The central committee (CC) meeting of the ruling CPN (UML) has proposed to finalize the process of party membership renewal by mid-July. At the CC meeting today, UML General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel presented an organizational report and proposed to renew the party membership and submit it to the party central office by July 20. General Secretary Pokharel said that the national general convention of the party should be conducted by April 2022 as per the party statute. He has further proposed to hold statute convention by August 9. He further purposed to hold ward level convention of the party by August 21 and local levels by August 21. Party CC members are putting forth their opinions on general secretary’s report. The13th CC meeting of the party is underway since Friday.
