The price of the yellow metal has been on upward trend since the last four days. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold which was Rs 177,900 per tola (11.66 grammes) on Monday has increased by Rs 1,800 and reached Rs 179,700 today. The price of silver, however, remains unchanged. Silver is being traded at Rs 2,035 today. The price of gold in the international market today is 3,140 US dollars per ounce, the Federation stated. The price of gold in the local market has been rising every day due to continuous rise in the price of the US dollar and internal demand management.
