According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the rockets were fired at the Upper Galilee area and the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights. The country’s aerial defense systems intercepted some of the rockets. There were no immediate reports of casualties. The IDF confirmed in a statement that in response, its fighter jets struck three launchers used to fire rockets earlier in the morning. The salvos came in response to Israeli airstrikes in the Beqaa Valley of Lebanon, approximately 45 km east of Beirut. The IDF said in a statement that the airstrikes targeted two sites belonging to Hezbollah’s aerial forces in retaliation for recent Hezbollah aircraft attacks launched towards the Golan Heights. The Beqaa Valley, some 100 km from the Israel border, is considered a Hezbollah stronghold.-(Xinhua) Write your comments RELATED NEWS South Korea court issues arrest warrant for impeached president Yoon Syrian war monitor says 17 dead in clashes in Tartus… Countrywide air alert in Ukraine due to missile threat Over 115,000 users leave X after US presidential election US and China must ‘get along’: Xi tells Trump Harris gives defiant concession after stunning Trump win Top Headlines Scrutinizing Relevance of Prithivi Narayan Shah´s Thoughts and Strategy1 Relevance of Prithivi Narayan Shah in Contemporary Nepal2 PM Oli extends New Year greetings3 PM Oli, Sri Lankan’s former President meet4 Ncell is the FIRST Nepali Telecom Company to receive ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications for information security and data privacy5 NA team sets out on Gorakha-Kathmandu march to promote ‘unification route’6 HoR Secretary Rai sworn in7 Economic prosperity achievable thru good governance: Minister Lekhak8 TRENDING The Role of the Nepalese Army in Strategic Road Projects National Poet Madhav Prasad Ghimire no more UPAYA CITY CARGO LAUNCHES Version 3.0 Public Relations for a Soldier Impact of Social Media on Nepalese Society Why Are Boys Unexpressive?
