The Serum Institute of India has made a shipment of 972,000 doses of the vaccines to Nepal, according to the Department of Health Services. Likewise, Nepal on coming December 8 will import 600,000 doses of Covishield under the COVAX. As the Department said the vaccine import is regular and it has urged all citizens above 18 to get the jab. Likewise, Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for children will be arriving on coming Friday. As the Department, 188,000 doses of Moderna vaccine have been procured from the US. Prior to this, children were given the Pfizer vaccine. So far, Nepal has received 2,619,600 doses of COVID-19 vaccines.
