गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Niraula elected Chair of Film Artistes Association of Nepal Nepal Niraula elected Chair of Film Artistes Association of Nepal KathmanduPati March 19, 2023 KATHMANDU – Mohan Niraula has been elected the Chairman of Film Artistes Association of Nepal, the umbrella organization of cine artistes in the country. On his election to the post, Niraula defeated Rejina Upreti. From the voting happened on Saturday on Association’s 19th general assembly, Niraula got 235 votes while Upreti managed 209 votes. In the past, Niraula served as the Association’s general secretary for four terms and vice-chairman for three terms. After the election to the post, Niraula has pledged to work for the professional security of artistes. Likewise, Kabita Gelal and Shivahari Nepal have made to the post of vice-chair while Sabin Shrestha was elected to the general secretary by getting 113 votes.
