The 10-bed Barekot health facility has made temporary arrangements for rendering services in the open after its building was damaged by the disaster. Senior ANM Kalpana Rokaya said temporary arrangements are in place for providing healthcare services majorly targeting the quake survivors. Jajarkot continues to report the aftershocks of Friday’s late night quake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale. Barekot lies in a distance of four kilometers from the center of the Ramidanda rural municipality.
