TU to conduct all postponed examinations after Chhath festival


KATHMANDU : Tribhuvan University (TU) has made preparations to conduct all examinations that were postponed due to COVID-19.

A meeting held between the TU Executive Council, Examination Reform and Coordination Council and Central Examination Operation Committee on Tuesday has decided to request concerned offices to begin preparations in order to conduct all postponed examinations after the Chhat festival.

Office of the Controller of Examinations at TU, Pushpa Raj Joshi said that TU has directed the concerned bodies to begin preparations to conduct examinations along with an alternative of students being able to attend the examination from their own places after the Chhat festival.

TU has already sent a circular to the concerned Deans’ offices to announce the routine of all postponed examinations before Dashain. Joshi said, “We are in preparation to conduct examinations after the Chhath festival in this situation. All examinations will be conducted if the situation does not get.”

Joshi shared that the TU Office of the Controller of Examinations today will send circular to all deans’ offices to start preparation for examination. TU will make arrangements for conducting examinations by determining physical distance and health criteria.

TU Registrar Prof Dr Peshal Dahal shared that TU has already directed the concerned offices to make preparation for conducting examinations. He added that preparation has been made to run classes from coming March after conducting all examinations within mid-February.
