गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Heavy rain likely in some parts of country Nepal Heavy rain likely in some parts of country KathmanduPati July 19, 2024 File Photo KATHMANDU – The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said that the country at present has the impact of monsoon winds and the low-pressure line of the monsoon is towards the south than its normal position. Currently, light to moderate rain is taking place in one or two places of all provinces except in Madhesh province, while some parts of Bagmati and Lumbini provinces are receiving heavy rain, the Department said. This afternoon, the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy in the country with a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces. Similarly, tonight there is the possibility of heavy rain in some places in Koshi and Sudurpaschim provinces. The Department said the weather will remain generally cloudy this afternoon and evening across the country.
