गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Two killed, 27 injured in bus accident Nepal Two killed, 27 injured in bus accident KathmanduPati August 29, 2024 File Photo NEPALGUNJ – Two people have died and 27 others sustained injuries when a bus met with an accident on the Surkhet Road of the Ratna highway near Ranjha Chowk in Banke district today. The accident happened as a passenger bus with registration number plate Bhe 1 Kha 2128 coming towards Nepalgunj from Dang became uncontrolled, said Deputy Superintendent Narayan Dangi of the District Police Office Banke. Those killed in the mishap are 60-year-old Dhana Bahadur Oli and 24-year-old Santosh Bhusal, the bus helper, of Tulasipur, Dang. DSP Dangi said an investigation is on into the cause of the accident. The injured are undergoing treatment at the Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj and at the Kohalpur-based Teaching Hospital, according to police.
