
LAMJUNG – Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, has said that the government is engaged in works to fulfill the people’s aspiration for development so that they can feel it.
Inaugurating the 12th District Convention of Private and Boarding Schools Organisation Nepal (PABSON) District Executive Committee Lamjung in Besisahar today, he said the government is working with commitment to creating employment opportunities as well as the development of education, health, drinking water, physical infrastructure and communication sectors.
He said the government was working to implement the development works through inter-ministerial coordination.
“NC and UML are working together to improve the country’s economy and maintain good governance and make people feel that it is their government. The government is active as per the directives of the Prime Minister keeping the development of the country at the centre,” Minister Gurung, who is also the government spokesperson, said on the occasion.
He said that he has also paid attention to the overall development of Lamjung, including upgrading the Dumre-Besisahar-Chame road.
“The Ministry has given priority to the expansion of information and communication technology, and its use will make it easier to move forward on the path of prosperity,” the Communications and Information Technology Minister added.
He also urged the PABSON Lamjung to implement the ‘digital system’ in the private schools.
