ACHHAM – People’s representatives of Achham have drawn the attention of the Home Minister about the incident of two girls from Dhakari Rural Municipality-8, Palsanta of Achham who were found dead in the forest.
The dead bodies of 15-year-old Saraswati Khadka and 14-year-old Ishara Khadka of local Dhakari Rural Municipality were found in Sunghar Community Forest located in Ward No. 1 of Dhakari Rural Municipality on Saturday evening.
In order to investigate the incident in the case of the death of teenage girls, the people’s representatives of Achham has drawn the attention of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak.
This morning, former Minister and Achham-1 Member of Parliament Sher Bahadur Kunwar, Achham-2 Member of Parliament Pushpa Bahadur Shah, Panchdeval Vinayak Municipality Mayor Ambika Chalaune drew the attention of the Home Minister for a fair investigation into the incident.
The Home Minister said that he took the incident seriously. According to him, the police have started a detailed investigation to find out the truth of the incident.
Similarly, the local representatives of Achham demanded with the Home Minister that the government provide relief to the families of five people from Achham who lost their lives in a train accident in India. They said that the government should be serious about such incidents, holding the view that laborers going to work from Nepal should be insured.
