गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Image Cooperatives’ depositors get Rs 10 million back Nepal Image Cooperatives’ depositors get Rs 10 million back KathmanduPati February 09, 2025 File Photo BAGLUNG – The Image Savings and Credit Cooperatives Limited has been refunded Rs 10 million after 547 depositors of the cooperative’s Dhorpatan and Galkot Service Centers reached a settlement with the chairperson Dev Kumar Nepali at the District Court, Baglung. Following the settlement, the refund of depositors’ amounts up to Rs 100,000 has begun. A total of 92 depositors in Dhorpatan have received cheque worth Rs 3.7 million while 147 depositors in Galkot Municipality have received refunds, shared Manju Sharma Chalise, coordinator of the Image Victim Struggle Committee, Galkot. Chalise said that the process has been taken forward so that out of the 547 depositors in Galkot and Dhorpatan, depositors who have up to Rs 100,000 will receive their refunds immediately. The cooperative’s depositors have reconciled by saying that they received the amount they were entitled to.The chairperson of the cooperatives is currently in custody awaiting trial.
