Around 200 people arrive at the office daily, for various services. Many people who go without wearing a mask have been returned and barred from entering the DAO premises. People coming for relief support provided to landslide and flood survivors, citizenship certificate and national identity card is increasing every day, said Chief District Officer Bhim Prasad Bhattarai. Most of them are going there for citizenship certificates, including a majority of the students who recently passed the Secondary School Examinations. At least 90 to 100 people are going there daily for citizenship certificates as of late, said section officer Shiva Kumar Rai. The opening of enrollment for various higher academic degrees including for the Seti Technical School in Dipayal has spurred the number of students seeking their citizenship certificate.
