The team successfully ascended the 6,812-meter peak at 11:20 AM today. The six-member team that included the Qatari prince along with seven Sherpa climbers reached the summit, said Iswari Paudel, managing director at Himalayan Guides. The Qatari prince posted videos of the ascent on his Instagram account. “The First Qatari at the Summit of Ama Dablam, 6,812 meters. We made it after a long 11 hours climb. We are all good and will be heading down now. Thank you all for the love and support and will see you all soon,” read a video caption.
