After some news media published news claiming that Attorney General Kharel has stepped down from his post, he issued a statement denying the resignation. Stating that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli was not satisfied with his defence of the government in the Supreme Court on House dissolution case, some news media have published news today morning claiming that Kharel has resigned from his post. In his statement, Attorney General Kharel said that news reports were a part of conspiracy to smear him and his party. “I haven’t resigned. There is no reason to quit.
