The election held on Sunday picked the new leadership. Among other office-bearers elected are Diensh Pariyar (senior vice-president), Narendra Basnet (general secretary), Shiva Bhandari (vice-president), Prameela Labung Rai (women vice-president), Manju Bhandari and Khemraj Ranabhat (secretary), SK Gurung (treasurer) and Surendra Ingnam (co-treasurer). Goma Rana, Narendra Nembang and Jayaram Tamang were unanimously elected as members of FNJ UK committee. As the election could not take place face-to-face due to COVID-19 pandemic, members had sent their ballot through postal mechanism. Some 38 members had participated in the election.
