Extending congratulations via social media, the Indian Minister for External Affairs said he was looking forward to collaborate with the newly-appointed minister of Nepal. Meanwhile, there is high chance of meeting between Minister Khadka and Indian Minister for External Affairs Jaishankar in New York, an Indian diplomat told Minister Jaishankar is already in New York in course of attending the 76th United Nations General Assembly, and Foreign Minister Khadka is reaching there this afternoon for the same purpose. The meeting between the foreign affairs ministers of Nepal and India has been taken importantly when an informal meeting of the ministers of foreign affairs of SAARC nations has been put off considering the changing political context in its member-nation Afghanistan. Nepal is the sitting chair of SAARC.
