गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ Two bills tabled in NA Politics Two bills tabled in NA KathmanduPati September 24, 2021 KATHMANDU – Two bills received from House of Representatives with message have been tabled in today’s meeting of the National Assembly. National Assembly Secretary Rajendra Phunyal tabled the ‘Finance Bill-2078’ and ‘Bill to raise national debt-2078’ in the meeting. The HoR meeting on Thursday passed the two bills and sent it to the National Assembly. The budget would be passed from federal parliament once the NA approves these two bills. The NA had passed the Appropriation Bill-2078 on Thursday. During the meeting today, NA Chair Ganesh Prasad Timilsina read out the letter received from the office of the President regarding certification of the Appropriation Bill-2078. NA Chair Timilsina allowed lawmaker Khimlal Bhattarai to speak after lawmakers of the main opposition party -CPN (UML) started protesting and Bhattarai urged the NA Chair not to proceed house business as they are still in protest as usual. The first meeting of the NA has been postponed for 10 minutes.
