गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ Maoist Centre’s statute draft proposes 15 office bearers Politics Maoist Centre’s statute draft proposes 15 office bearers KathmanduPati December 27, 2021 KATHMANDU – CPN (Maoist Centre) Standing Committee member Dev Prasad Gurung presented a statute draft in the closed session of the party’s ongoing eighth General Convention, proposing a 299-member Central Committee with 15 office-bearers. The proposal on the statute amendment followed the presentation of the political report by party Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’. The draft has proposed one chair, one senior vice chair, six vice-chairs, one general secretary, two deputy general secretaries, three secretaries and a treasurer. As Gurung said, the chamber of office bearers will be inclusive. Likewise, it has proposed for 10 percent nominations in the Central Committee.
