While inaugurating a painting exhibition organised by the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in Naxal today, the Prime Minister said the role of Academy in establishing Nepal in the fine arts genre deserved applause. “The contribution the Academy and artists to promoting Nepal’s presence in the area of fine arts is commendable,” he said. Recalling his efforts to create a foundation for establishing the NAFA during his first term as the Prime Minister, he said he was happy and felt pride to see it doing its jobs well. On the occasion, the Prime Minister honoured people contributing to the fine arts genre and also observed the works on fine arts displayed on the occasion.
