As he said, the priority to sports within from the ward-level is the good aspect of the policies and programmes. He drew the government’s attention towards the lack of timely commencement of roadways projects and the lack of quality maintenance in the implementation.

The leader believed that it was necessary to increase production to have more jobs and to advance towards self-sufficiency. He utilised the rostrum to urge the government to take the world economic crisis into mind while making its plans ahead. “The budget should be for the cause of people and development,” he said rebuking the comments that “fresh policies and programmes are of no gravity.”
