
KATHMANDU – CPN (UML) General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel has said that the cooperation in the government between the two major political parties is stronger.
He clarified that the two main parties in the country, Nepali Congress and UML, have proceeded with mutual agreement and trust regarding the operation of the government.
In a press meet organized by Press Chautari Nepal in Bardibas, General Secretary Pokhrel shared that the agreement was reached between the two parties to end the political instability for the country’s prosperity and development.
The UML General Secretary mentioned that for the prosperity and development of the country, the government with a clear majority of one party is essential in the upcoming elections. According to him, the UML has embarked on the ‘Mission-2084’ campaign guided by this initiative. He said that in the 2084 general elections, UML will move forward with a firm determination to run the government by securing a clear majority in that election.
“The UML has aspired for the prosperity of the country,” Pokhrel said, adding that balanced development of all areas either in Terai, Hills or Mountain region is possible under the leadership of the UML.
Kashinath Adhikari, Head of UML Central Organization Department, Madhesh In-charge Leelanath Shrestha, Politburo members Sumanraj Pyakurel and Jwala Sah and Madhesh Province chair Chandrashwar Mandal were present in the programme.
UML Madhes Province is launching party’s three-month organizational strengthening campaign for province-level trainer training programme.
Leader Mandal informed that central committee and province committee members and the chairpersons and secretaries of all the districts in the province will participate in the programme.
