KATHMANDU- Nepal Communist Party co-chair and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has invited members of an intra-party dispute resolution task force formed three months ago to his official residence in Baluwatar.
The move to revive the task force comes in the wake of widening rifts between co-chair Oli and Executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ in recent weeks.
Prime Minister Oli invited six members of the task force to his official residence Baluwatar to discuss the growing intra-party disputes in the ruling NCP.
NCP General Secretary Bishnu Paudel, leaders Bhim Rawal, Surendra Pandey, Janardan Sharma and Pampha Bhusal are members of the task force that was formed in mid-August to resolve the intra-party disputes.
However, members who were from the erstwhile CPN (Maoist-Center) in the task force are not participating in the meeting called by Prime Minister Oli, according to a source.
Sharma is remaining in self-isolation after testing positive for the coronavirus, while Bhusal has informed that she will not be able to attend the meeting, according to the source.
