Upon his landing at Bhadrapur Airport, the Prime Minister was welcomed by Province 1 Chief Somnath Adhikari ’Pyasi’, Bagmati Province Chief Bishnu Prasad Prasain, Province 1 Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai and Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Hikmat Kumar Karki. The Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the shelter called ‘Province Pride Village’ based in Birtamod of Jhapa. The village developed at the Birtamod Municipality-7 has 37 shelters. He will launch the 300-bed Purbanchal Cancer Hospital established by investor Durga Prasain at a cost of Rs 6 billion. Then after, Prime Minister Oli will attend a programme to be held at Urlabari, Morang. This is the second visit of the Prime Minister to his home district in a week.
