According to a source, Kharel is announcing his resignation from the post of Attorney General today. He is organizing a press meet at 1 pm today to announce his resignation. Subhash Chandra Nembwang, parliamentary party deputy leader of ruling CPN (UML), confirmed Kharel’s resignation. He stepped down from the post with effect from today, according to Nembwang. According to a source, Attorney General Kharel has expressed interest with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to go to Jhapa and work there.
