गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ CPN (UML) writes for removing Shahi, Oli from Lumbini Province Assembly Politics CPN (UML) writes for removing Shahi, Oli from Lumbini Province Assembly KathmanduPati August 17, 2021 KATHMANDU – The CPN (UML), Lumbini has written to the Lumbini Province Assembly Speaker asking to relieve PA members Ajay Shahi and Bimala Khatri Oli from their posts. Citing the two acted against the party rules and statute, the party has submitted a letter to Speaker Purna Bahadur Gharti, seeking their removal from the post of PA member, according to UML Parliamentary Party Chief Whip for Lumbini, Bhumishwor Dhakal. Shahi is the incumbent Minister Without Portfolio in the Province Government. He was elected to the 2017 Province Assembly election from Nawalparasi 1 (Kha) from the election symbol ‘Sun’, the party symbol of CPN (UML) while Oli was elected from Dang 3 (Kha ) in the 2019 November by-election on behalf of the then Nepal Communist Party (NCP), the party formed by uniting the CPN (UML) and the CPN (Maoist Centre).
