She completed the distance in 36 minutes 12.36 seconds. Rajpura Pachhai from Nepal Police Club and Puspa Bhandari from the Armed Police Force Nepal secured second position and third position respectively. Pachhai finished in 36 minutes 29.45 seconds, and Bhandari 37 minutes 4.2 seconds. The competition was organised at the Pokhara Stadium today. “My physical and mental strengths helped me win the medal, and I am much satisfied with this triumph,” said elated Shrestha, who also won the gold medal in the 2019 South Asian Games in Nepal.
