The match is scheduled to begin at 4:45 pm (Nepali time), said the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). For the Nepali national team, the match will be taking place after a one year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Another match between Nepal and Bangladesh is scheduled for November 17. Both countries had played a match in the SAFF Championship in September, 2018, when Nepal had defeated Bangladesh 2-0. Nepal will be playing the friendly match against Bangladesh today evening in its bid to be prepared for the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. Nepal has entered the second phase under the qualifiers. A team of 34, including players and coaches, is in Dhaka to play the friendly match.
