गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Plasma therapy treatment successful in Bharatpur Hospital Nepal Plasma therapy treatment successful in Bharatpur Hospital KathmanduPati October 07, 2020 CHITWAN : The Bharatpur Hospital in Chitwan district has been successful in treating COVID-19 infected patients and helping them recover fully by employing the plasma therapy method. A 51-year-old man from Bharatpur Metropolitan City ward no 12 has recovered from the flu-like infection through this method. The person had been admitted to the Hospital on September 15 after he had tested positive for COVID-19. He was treated with the plasma therapy method since September 23, after which he recovered, informed Plasma Therapy Coordinator Consultant Physician Dr Kalyan Sapkota. It is the first successful case for the Hospital. The man returned home on Tuesday upon complete recovery. The health workers and the hospital management have felt encouraged following the plasma therapy treatment’s success with their patients battling the deadly virus. Those recovered have been urged to donate their plasma for the treatment of other COVID-19 patients.
