The dead one was Pramod Mandal, who was a pillion rider on a motorcycle. Mandal hit by a bus had received deep injuries. He breathed his last during treatment at Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Madhav Prasad Kafle. Motorcycle (Sa 2 Pa 3333) rider Amarnath Yadav, 32, is also in critical condition. He is receiving treatment at Saptarishi Hospital, Lahan. They were going to conduct a puja at Shani Temple in the Chure Hill, neighbour Dhiraj Jha said. The bus (Na 2 Kha 9000) driver Suresh Rimal, 37, from Madi Municipality of Chitwan has been taken under control.
