Considering the potential risks of coronavirus, the Nepal Police had initiated the campaign with the slogan ‘Let us protect oneself and others from coronavirus infection’ so as to check spread of the contagion. Under the campaign that kicked off on April 19 this year, as many as 1,479,565masks have been so far distributed freely across the country, the police headquarters news desk shared. In addition to mask distribution, the police had sensitized 13,029 people through 65 different awareness prorgammes, including mike announcement, placards, pamphlets and leaflets in the last 24 hours.
