The isolation wards and quarantines, operated free of cost during first and second phase of coronavirus pandemic have been kept in prepared position if needed this time too, said KMC Mayor Bidhya Sundar Shakya. He shared, “We held discussion with Home Minister, different hospitals and Nepali Army for the same. We have asked the Nepali Army and hospital to stay in ready position. We are also in prepared position.” Mayor Shakya urged theCOVID-19 Crisis Management Centre (CCMC) to move ahead coordinating and collaborating with local government. The KMC dwellers have been urged to contact health clinics run at all 32 wards of KMC and Health Department if they face health complication. It has been appealed to get vaccinated as the KMC has made arrangement of third dose of vaccine against COVID-19 to all eligible group including frontline workers inside KMC and senior citizens.
