In a message of best wishes on the occasion of Sonam Lhosar today, former Prime Minister Nepal wished for the good health, longevity and progress of all sisters and brothers. He termed the indigenous traditions, rituals and culture of different communities as the fundamental identity-markers and treasures of Nepali people and the country. Noting that such festivals have significantly contributed to keep intact social harmony and national unity, he expressed his belief that the Sonam Lhosar would also inspire all of us to build a socialist country marked with social justice and equality.
