The results of the samples tested at the laboratory of Bharatpur Hospital came on Friday morning. Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Surya Bahadur Thapa, informed that with the latest update, the number of policemen having contracted the virus has reached 39 in the district. Among them, five returned to duty after recovery and the remaining ones are receiving treatment at an isolation facility. There are currently 41 policemen deputed at the Ward Office With the spread of coronavirus, the Ward Office has sealed off. The number of infected people will probably rise as the result of other sample tests are yet to come back, according to Thapa.
