Surya Kiran Sharma, press coordinator of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, told RSS that the cabinet meeting decided to promote AIG Kunwar to the post. He was promoted to AIG as per the decision of March 20. AIGs-Tek Prasad Rai, Deepak Thapa, Shyam Lal Gyawali and Kiran Bajracharya along with Kunwar were in the race for IGP.
