The top leaders of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Nepali Congress and the main opposition, CPN (UML) and the Chief Whips of these parties are in attendance in the discussions under way at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar. Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, UML Chair KP Sharma Oli, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha and UML Vice-Chair Subash Chandra Nembang are present. Also present in the discussions are the CPN (Maoist Centre)’s Chief Whip Hitraj Pandey, Nepali Congress’ Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak, UML’s Chief Whip Padam Giri and Rastriya Swatantra Party’s Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar.
