The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, Lainchaur informed that earthquakes- one measuring 4.3 in Richter scale and another measuring 3.9 in Richter scale- were recorded at 10:52pm and 12:23am last night. The Centre further informed that on Tuesday afternoon an earthquake measuring 5.3 Richter scale had occurred in Bajhang with its epicenter at Talkot. On the same day, a 6.3 Richter scale quake jolted the district at 3:06pm. It was followed by 4.1 Richter scale tremor at 3:45pm. A person died while a dozen others got injured in the earthquake. Similarly, hundreds of houses were damaged in the quake.
