गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Fire guts property worth Rs 2.5 million in Khotang Nepal Fire guts property worth Rs 2.5 million in Khotang KathmanduPati November 13, 2023 File Photo KHOTANG – Property worth Rs 2.5 million plus gutted to cinder in a fire that broke out in the house of Bhim Bahadur Kawatal at Dhitung of Halesi Tuwachung Municipality-8 in the district on Sunday. The fire broke out after the power leakage which ked to destruction of a three-storied building. Likewise, Rs 200,000 cash, four and a half tola of gold, utensils, grains, wooden items and the entire property in the house were gutted, according to the District Police Office, Khotang. The fire was taken under control after the two hours of the incident with support from the local residents and police personnel. The seven-member Katawal family is now rendered homeless after the fire.
