गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Aftershock jolts Bajhang Nepal Aftershock jolts Bajhang KathmanduPati November 20, 2023 File Photo KATHMANDU – An aftershock measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale and with epicentre at Dhamena occurred in Bajhang at 11.37 am today, said the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre. Senior seismologist at the Centre, Dr Lokbijaya Adhikari said another aftershock jolted Bajhang following the tremor at Dhamena. “An aftershock measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale took place with its epicentre at Dhamena. Information has been received the aftershock was felt in surrounding districts of Bajhang as well,” he said. An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale and with epicentre in Bajhang had jolted the district on October 3. Many aftershocks have occurred following this quake, according to the Centre.
