गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Business ∕ Laxmi Sunrise Bank Invitational Golf Tournament Business Laxmi Sunrise Bank Invitational Golf Tournament KathmanduPati November 26, 2023 KATHMANDU – Norbu Tshiring Sherpa won the title of 8th edition of Laxmi Sunrise Bank Invitational Golf here at Gokarna Golf Club on Saturday. Playing with two handicap, Sherpa accumulated 41 stableford points to win the trophy. While scoring 41 points, he carded birdies on first, third, fourth, 13th and 18th holes against bogeys on 12th and 17th holes. Ashish Shrestha accumulated 40 points to finish runner-up in the tournament, he was playing with 11 handicap allowance. Tashi Dong bagged the best gross award after carding 39 gross points. Sumitra Khadka was winner among ladies with 34 points and Aarti Rana finished runner-up with 33 points. Maj Gen (retd) Mahesh Bikram Karki was senior winner (age 60 and above) with 34 points on the count back after being tied with Tendi Sherpa. Sadbhav Acharya got the longest drive award, Tahir Shah got closest to the pin and Wangchen Dhondup got most birdies award with four birdies and one eagle. Bijay Bahadur Shrestha got the most elegant golfer award for wearing the Laxmi Sunrise color outfit. The event sponsored by Laxmi Sunrise Bank played under stableford format with 3/4 handicap was participated by 96 golfers including seven female golfers. CEO of Laxmi Sunrise Bank, Ajaya Bikram Shah, President of Gokarna Golf Club Suhrid Ghimire and Captain Joseph Nathan gave away the prizes to the winners of the tournament.
