The deceased have been identified as Rum Bahadur BK, 42, of Baudikali rural municipality-2 in Nawalpur district and Jemlal Darai, 55, of Dedhgaun from same locality, according to the District Police Office, Tanahu. The incident took place when the ill-fated jeep (Ga 1 Ja 6356) en route to Rampur in Palpa from Pokhara fell some 150 meters off the road, said police. Critically injured in the mishap and rushed to the nearest health facility, the two were pronounced dead by the doctors at the GP Koirala National Centre for Respiratory Diseases. Likewise, ten people sustained injuries in the incident, police said.
