गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ 883 tourists visit Khaptad in seven months Nepal 883 tourists visit Khaptad in seven months KathmanduPati February 28, 2024 File Photo DOTI – A total of 883 travelers visited Khaptad region in the Sudurpaschim Province in the past seven months of the current fiscal year, according to the Khaptad National Park. Khaptad, a highly significant area in terms of religious and natural heritages, received 18 foreigners and 865 domestic tourists in the first seven months of the current fiscal years. In the fiscal year 2077/78 BS, three foreigners and 1,685 Nepalis visit the Khaptad area, a haven in the far-west while the number of total visitors was slightly more than 2,200 in the fiscal year 2078/79. Likewise, a total of 2,891 visitors travelled here in the last fiscal year. With the beginning of the tourist season, the number of visitors is expected to rise in Khaptad.
