The accident happened at Belbari-3 in Morang district along the East-West Highway, Police Inspector Tej Bahadur Dahal confirmed. Police Inspector Dahal said the tipper truck (Pra 1 Kha 9676) hit a bus and a jeep (Me 1 Ja 2856), killing Yadu Kanta Bhattarai, 52, and Gita Khanal, 44, of Kamal Rural Municipality, Jhapa. Five others are critically injured in the mishap and receiving treatment at Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar.
