गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Casino license to be revoked if not renewed on time Nepal Casino license to be revoked if not renewed on time KathmanduPati June 01, 2024 File photo KATRHMANDU – The license of casino operators will be automatically revoked if they do not submit their renewal application by mid-June, Spokesperson and Director of the Department of Tourism, Kali Bahadur Bhujel, said the application for the renewal should be submitted one month before their expiry. If the application for renewal is not submitted by mid-June, it will be automatically cancelled. Only a few number of applications have been received so far for renewal of the casinos. According to him, 28 licenses have been issued for the operation of casinos across the country. For the renewal the arrears and the specified amount of casino royalty, the renewal fee and the documents mentioned as per rule 13 (1) of the Casino Regulations, 2070 has also to be submitted.
