The government had decided to provide grant amount to Jajarkot-quake victims for the construction of temporary shelters. The district leaders, central-level leaders and lawmakers of the Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) of Rukum West and Rukum East, met with the Prime Minister at his official residence at Baluwatar today and requested the government to provide first and second tranche amount determined by the government for Jajarkot quake victims at the earliest. They submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Oli, calling for the establishment of project office of the National Reconstruction Authority there. CPN (UML) Politburo member Khemman Khadka, National Assembly member of the Nepali Congress Krishna Bahadur Rokaya, member of the House of Representatives, Chandra Bahadur Bishwokarma of the UML, NC’s former state minister Gopalji Jung Shah, as well district leaders were present on the occasion.
