The Spokesperson of Nepal Police, Dan Bahadur Karki, said that 12 persons from Kathmandu district and 24 from Lalitpur district were rescued from the flood-induced disasters in the city. Karki shared that 11 persons from Balkhu and Kuleshwor area and an individual from Naya Buspark area were rescued. The riverbank areas in the city including Balkhu, Bafal, Dhobikhola corridor, Sundarighat area and others were waterlogged due to inundation. Likewise, a house was damaged in a landslip at Nagpokhari in Phutung area. Furthermore, 24 persons including two from UN Park, eight from Sundarighat, one from Balkumari, seven from Chagathali and six from Mahalamxi Ram Mandir area were rescued in Lalitpur district.
